Aino Anto, Illustrator

Toronto-born Aino Anto was raised on music, books and health food. She earned her first dime by drawing pictures of mermaids for other kids in Miss Brown's grade one class.

After attending university and starting a family, Aino devoted her energy to studying illustration at the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD).

She has a passion for all things related to children's books and writes and illustrates her own stories. A Christmas for Carol is her first published book project.
