Allan
Briesmaster - Editor
Allan Briesmaster was born in Massachusetts
in 1946 and came to Canada in 1969. He is a freelance literary
editor and consultant, and the author of nine poetry books
and chapbooks. His latest collection is Interstellar (Quattro
Books, 2007). He also runs his own micro press, Aeolus House.
The main organizer of the Art Bar Poetry Reading Series each
week from 1993 until 2002, he is now one of four authors managing
the Toronto WordStage every month. Since 1998, working with
several literary presses, Allan has been instrumental in the
production of more than 50 books of poetry and non-fiction.
He lives in Thornhill, Ontario
Steven Michael Berzensky

Steven Michael Berzensky (a.k.a. Mick Burrs) was born in California
in 1940 and moved to Canada in 1965. He has published more
than 800 poems, and 35 books and chapbooks, including The
Names Leave the Stones: Poems New and Selected (Coteau, 2001),
and has won numerous awards for his poetry, fiction, non-fiction,
humour, and drama. While editing Grain literary magazine (1988-90),
he founded the Annual Short Grain Contest. He has resided
in Vancouver, Edmonton, Regina, and Yorkton, Saskatchewan
– and now lives in Toronto.
